What. A. Day.
I've been to the airport twice in the past 24 hours. We had three new volunteers arrive yesterday and another volunteer leave today. Ali and I have our training session for traditional birth attendants on Thursday and there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Today at Baby Ramadan's wellness check-up we found out he needs to see a specialist ASAP. The list just goes on and on.
This crazy week completely snuck up and caught me so off guard. Good thing I've got sweet faces like these to make me smile:
Today is also Canada Day. I only mention it because Ashley is Canadian and she cooked "Canadian" food for us:
Pancakes with 2% maple syrup (as close as we could get to real deal), bacon, and Nanaimo bars.
Time to start planning a feast for the 4th of July!
