Check out these cuties:
Today I went to DINKA (Dutch Initiative for Kids in Africa) to celebrate the end of the school term with our Pilot House kids. They attend a Danish-run hybrid school (a cross between an english medium and an international school). In Tanzania, instead of one long summer break, students attend school for three months then have a one month break before three more months of school, etc.
Their performances were really sweet! The preschoolers (all of the kids from the Pilot House) sang a song about the importance of trees. The chorus went something like "cut down one tree and plant two more".
Startin' em young!
XOXO,
Amanda
